An Evening Inside the Spiral
Thursday 20th May 2004
Our gala event for the first half of 2004 was based around "an evening inside the world of Spiral Dynamics (SD)."
This session was facilitated by Dianne Moore, Marcus Barber and Alex Burns who each have extensive experience in the theory and practice of Spiral Dynamics principles and its applications.
During the session the following was discussed:
* Spiral Dynamics principals, fundamentals, & labels
* A Journey through value systems and transitions
At a second SD session, planned for later this year, it is proposed that the following topics will be discussed:
* SD and the Integral world
* The SD Change model and variations of change
* Business and futures applications of SD
Each of the participants was given an opportunity to perform an individual Spiral Assessment as part of a broader special research program. Some feedback on this research will be posted to this site as soon as it becomes available.
This night was also the first time for 2004 that the entire AFI student and Alumni body was invited to an event. We welcomed a large number of our collegues from the 2004 On-Line and Class-based Gradate Certificate program. Over 40 students and alumni participated and many continued on to a very enjoyable dinner afterwards.
